Design
STYLISH EXTERIOR
The Rush has a stylish exterior with a fluid design of the front grill, built-in roof rails, a bold and elongated side appearance which adds a sporty look and LED headlights which provide an excellent level of lighting in different conditions.
LED LIGHTS
The new Rush has a rear spoiler series, which in addition to giving a more sporty appearance, helps with the aerodynamics of the vehicle, improving fuel economy. It comes with a third brake light with LED bulbs and the LED rear lights with thin horizontal lines accentuate your sporty and elegant style.
16/17 INCH ALLOY WHEELS
The Rush is equipped with tires that offer low rolling resistance for better fuel economy. The tire sizes are 215 / 65R16 for the Mid Grade and 215 / 60R17 for the High Grade.
SPACIOUS CABIN
The Rush is also very spacious, with a roomy cabin and 3 rows of seats to fit 7 passengers comfortably and ample luggage space for four 5-gallon water bottles and 13 cup holders, even when all seats are occupied.
SEATS AND FABRIC
The seats design and materials seek to generate an optimal level of support for anyone regardless of their shape or size, which is why both the front and second row seats can slide. The seats are covered in high quality water repellent fabric material which will keep you comfortable and cool in our hot climate.
VERSATILITY
The three rows of seats are versatile and can all comfortably accomodate occupants or configure to carry a variety of loads. The second and third row are foldable in several ways to leave more space for luggage. For example, the second-row and third-row seatbacks fold down to create a large space for carrying long items, or the third-row seats tumble-fold to expand the luggage space.
Technology
SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM
The smart entry and smart start system allow you to turn the Rush on and off without having to manipulate the key, providing an extraordinary level of functionality and comfort.
INSTRUMENT PANEL
The instrument panel includes a speedometer and a tachometer accented by an elegant chrome trim. The multi information indicator located between the meters displays the fuel efficiency in a very intuitive way together with an "eco-bar" indicator.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
In the front console there are reminder indicators of the use of seat belts for all occupants in addition to the AC controls with automatic climate control and forced air controls. The performance of the air-conditioning keeps the interior at a comfortable temperature for driver and all passengers due to its functional rear air-conditioner.
REAR A/C VENTILATION
The rear ventilation system is integrated in the roof and is controllable from the rear seats. This gives an additional level of comfort to the occupants of the rear seats, even in the third row.
LOCK AND MIRROR CONTROLS
Electrical controls of side windows, with anti-entrapment system for the driver and blocking of opening of windows. The new Rush is equipped with automatic electric door lock when the vehicle reaches a speed of 20 km/h. Outside mirrors have electrical control and on the High Grade version the outer side mirrors are retractable.
ACCESSOR SOCKETS
Each row of seats has an accessory socket for convenient charging of smartphones and other devices.
Performance
2NR-VE ENGINE
The Rush has a 2NR-VE engine and incorporates Dual VVT-I (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence), which continuously optimizes intake and exhaust valve timing in response to driving conditions.
4-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The 4-speed automatic transmission developed for the 2NR-VE engine achieves excellent power performance and fuel efficiency.
HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE
The Rush has a large approach and exit angles combined with good ground clearance making it suitable for all types of terrain, including off road.
SMALL TURNING RADIUS
The 5.2 meter minimun turning radius makes for easy driving and peace of mind in small parking spaces and narrow streets.
Safety
AIRBAGS
The Rush is equipped with 6 airbigs: SRS driver airbag, SRS front passenger airbag, SRS side airbags (front seats) and SRS curtain shield airbags (front and rear seats) as well as with absorption body structure which will protect its passengers in the event of a colission.
BACK UP CAMERA AND SONARS
While backing out of a car park or garage the backup camera and ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles as the vehicle approaches them and alerts the driver with a buzzer.
ANTI LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)
When the vehicle detects that the wheels are traveling at a lower speed than the vehicle (what we commonly call the tire lock) the Antilock Braking System (ABS) releases the braking pressure independently on each wheel, in order to maintain grip on the surface.
HILL-START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC)
The Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) works when the vehicle is on a slope and starts from rest. It increases the brake pressure on all the wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling back when the driver shifts the foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL (VSC)
Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps prevent front or rear wheel slip when sensors detect conditions likely to cause skidding.
